Hoodies 4 Healing: Empowered by Bey Good Foundation - A $13,000 Donation That will Change Lives

The week of September 23^rd became a pivotal moment in the history of Hoodies 4 Healing. An exclusive invite to Bey Good’s Black Parade Route opened doors to the attendance of one of the most outstanding tours the world has ever seen, The Renaissance Tour with Multi-Grammy Award-winning icon, Beyonce Knowles-Carter. Aside from landing VIP tickets to the concert, Rosemary was a gem in attendance with other Houston area moguls and community pillars. Ms. Tina Knowles gave an empowering speech and Coco Jones serenaded the star-studded crowd with her versatile and truly captivating voice.

When Rose’s name was called to the stage by Executive Director IVY McGregor, God was already present in the room and made His pro-vision plain. Rose accepted the $1,000 check from Bey Good Foundation and then the room began to move. Ms. Tina and Activist Tamika Mallory assisted in the outpour of additional donations. Rose went from $1,000 to $13,000 in a matter of seconds.

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, 'Oh that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and You would keep me from evil, that I might not cause pain! ' So, God granted him what he requested.” I Chronicles 4:10.

Bey Good’s Black Parade Route ended up being a memorable weekend and not just a day. Volunteers from the Foundation came out to show their support at the traditional meet-up spot across from Star of Hope to feed the unhoused and the hungry hot meals with warm and cold beverages at their disposal.
